Welcome to my website! My name is Victoria de Almeida, New Mexico folk artist from Santa Fe. I come from a family of artists; my grandfather, father, and sister are all artists. As a self-taught artist, my work is based on my experiences growing up in New Mexico. I paint what I love, mostly the people, cultures, and traditions of my beautiful state. I am a member of the Contemporary Hispanic Market, The Weems International Artfest, and The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association. I received the First Time Exhibitor award at this years 2010 Contemporary Hispanic Market as well as best in painting at the Weems International Artfest 2010.
