Oscar Wilde Symposium, keynote speaker Merlin Holland (only grandson of Oscar Wilde)
Santa Fe, NM, July 25, 2013
I was given the opportunity to exhibit my painting "Wilde" at the keynote speech of the Oscar Wilde Symposium in Santa Fe, New Mexico on July 25, 2013. Oscar Wilde's only grandson Merlin Holland was giving the keynote speech..
After painting "Wilde" I sent a copy to the actor Stephen Fry who played Oscar Wilde in the 1997 film "Wilde" He wrote me a beautiful thank you card. There was only one other person I wanted to see the print: Merlin Holland.
This is how the painting was displayed at the symposium.
Great turnout
Sharing my work with Merlin Holland.
Merlin Holland signing my book about the Oscar Wilde trials that he wrote the introduction for.
